Spring and autumn, the best time to visit Venice to enjoy the nice weather
Pleasant temperature and iconic festivals are the keywords for the spring in Venice. Springs and autumns are considered shoulder seasons and you will be able to find affordable prices for the accommodations and an acceptable amount of tourists.
Especially spring can be full of surprises… Imagine losing yourself in the calli (the narrow streets), crossing a bridge, and ending up to a nice small square in the middle of Venice. There you will find a well-organized garden and maybe some trees (yes, trees in Venice) which are full of flowers blossoming: that’s the unexpected beauty of the city.
Autumn might be the best time to visit Venice also for the exhibitions and the events: La Biennale, for example, runs usually from May till November, but in September there are many festivals including for example the music one. In September there is also the Regata Storica, in October the marathon, while in November another major religious celebration, Festa della Madonna della Salute.
