How a winery can be more environmentally friendly: Cantina Pizzolato

Prosecco week was held from 18 to 24 July 2022 in the United States of America celebrating one of the most famous wines in the world, Prosecco. Many featured events animated the whole country, from the West Coast to the East Coast. Among the participating wineries, Cantina Pizzolato presented their Prosecco DOC “M-Use”.


“M-Use” is a project born in 2019 putting important focus on “MULTI-USE”. “The M-Use project started from a careful and profound consumer analysis of our sparkling wines. An analysis that led us to discover, for example, that these are for the most part women between the ages of 30 and 45, assiduous members of the social world and beauty enthusiasts but very attentive to issues related to the environment. Hence the intuition to transform the classic smooth glass container in an object of desire with a thousand lives.
The main markets they immediately embraced this project were Sweden and the United States of America, markets that are constantly evolving and often anticipating trends and tastes”- says Sabrina Rodelli, Export Manager of La Cantina Pizzolato.
The result is what today takes the name of “M-USE bottle”, an excellent example of a green footprint that focuses on the concepts of reuse, reduction, and recycling. Making the transformation from a bottle that loses its value when empty, to one that you empty intentionally to gain interesting new values and purposes, in line with the company’s sensitivity towards an always more sustainable and green future. The
name of this new bottle is not accidental. In fact, “M-Use” is a name that contains within itself various meanings: born from the extraordinary union of feminine perspectives; it identifies, in the bottle, both an inspiring muse, femininity’s par excellence, and MULTI-USE.

The precious bottle of Prosecco DOC, presented during the Prosecco Week, in fact, is transformed, becoming an object of sustainable design and home decor. The bottle has diamonds on the surface, enriching even more the Prosecco Pizzolato contained within, which is already fully eco-sustainable as certified organic and vegan. A ceiling lamp, a water bottle on the table and a vase of flowers are some of its possible reuses. Everything in the related merchandising is also environmentally conscious: for example, the glasses are made from the cut of the 200 ml “M-Use” bottle, the glass stopper for the water bottle and the gift box made from 100% recycled paper.

The Prosecco DOC “M-USE” Brut Pizzolato is a Prosecco DOC obtained exclusively from Glera grapes, certified organic and vegan. Prosecco with a bright color, straw yellow with greenish reflections, has a harmonious and balanced perfume, reminiscent of the rennet apple. It goes well with light dishes such as sushi and sashimi thanks to its velvety and fresh flavor and its fine and persistent perlage. Prosecco DOC “M-USE” Brut can be found in formats of 200 ml and 750 ml.
Thanks to the national and international fairs and events returning in 2022, like Vinitaly and Prosecco Week, Cantina Pizzolato made it their mission to raise consumer awareness of green concepts of sustainability inspiring them with the many possible reuses of the bottle of the “M-USE” world.
