IGP Valdamato: White Grapes are Ansonica, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Greco, Guardavalle, Guarnaccia, Malvasia, Manzoni Bianco, Montonico Bianco, Moscato, Pecorello, Pinot Bianco, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Trebbiano, Welschriesling (Riesling Italico)and Red Grapee are Aglianico, Barbera, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Castiglione, Gaglioppo, Greco Nero, Magliocco Canino, Malvasia Nera, Merlot, Nerello Cappuccio, Nerello Mascalese, Nero d’Avola (Calabrese), Nocera, Sangiovese. The Zone of production is Communes of Curinga, Feroleto, Gizzeria, Lamezia Terme, Maida, Pianopoli, and San Pietro a Maida in the province of Catanzaro. TheMinimum alcohol level is 10.0% for all frizzante wines; 10.5% for Bianco tranquillo and Rosato tranquillo; 10.5% potential for Passito; 11.0% for Rosso tranquillo and Novello; 12.0% for Spumante and Rosato Spumante
